Two Ways to Host
Host as a group: Sign up your church, ministry, or organization to host the room by selecting a specific date and taking shifts between 8:00 AM and 10pm on your date. Or, a half day can be scheduled if that’s more convenient. You can even name a prayer theme for that day if you would like!
Host as an individual: If you are interested in hosting as an individual, let us know your availability, and we will connect you and get you scheduled for a specific day.
What to expect while hosting
Welcoming Face
God loves every person who enters the prayer room. As a host, you play a meaningful role in communicating His love by providing a welcoming and helpful first impression to guests, especially first-timers.
Prayer Support
While many will choose to engage in more private times of prayer, hosts will be available to anyone that would like to receive prayer.
Monitor the Room
You’ll be expected to maintain a peaceful atmosphere of prayer, ensuring that prayer room etiquette is being followed, so everyone feels welcome and comfortable engaging the room.
Schedule at Least Two at a Time
When your group signs up to host a specific date, we ask that you assign at least two people in the room at all times. We already have a group of nightwatch hosts that cover the hours between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. Therefore, you will schedule hosts between 8:00 AM and 10:00 pm or half days if that is what you prefer (8:00am-3:00pm or 3:00pm-10:00pm).
Prayer Theme (Optional)
Although not required, groups have the option to choose a prayer theme for their host date. A few examples could be families, foster care, adoption, first responders, the sanctity of life, human trafficking, youth, schools, cancer, racial unity, crime, specific countries, etc.
Corporate Prayer & Worship
Live worship and prayer will take place from 7:00 to 8:00 AM and 7:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday in the room. On your host date, you can choose to lead that timeframe, reflecting your own style and traditions, or we have a group of worship teams we can assign to lead those two environments.
