Prayer Request – cancer, Geoff friend

I was able to get surgery scheduled on Tuesday, June 3, for a partial nephrectomy (partial removal of my left kidney) to remove cancer. There is a small chance that if complications arise, I will lose the entire kidney, but I’m praying that the Lord will protect the kidney and allow for just a partial. I’m nervous about the surgery itself. I’ve not had a surgery this major and I’m hoping that it will not only be successful, that there won’t be any surprises and that the cancer has not spread.
